Who is it for?
To be eligible for the website giveaway, you must be a wellness business owner who a.) has faced obstacles entering the industry and b.) is looking to make a positive change in your community.
This may include discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, or socioeconomic status, or a lack of access to resources and support. We encourage all eligible individuals to apply, and we look forward to hearing from you!

That’s why we want to support businesses that are committed to making our sector more diverse and inclusive—either through the people or groups they serve or in terms of their own leadership.
We know how important it is to have a website when establishing a wellness business and that professional creative/technical help is not accessible to everyone.
With the Good Karma Project, our mission is to provide a wellness professional—who might not otherwise have access to a professional website—launch their online presence with the help of a team of experts.

What is the deadline to apply?
We will keep our application process open on a rolling basis until we have a selection of eligible candidates to choose from.
Are there any additional costs to maintaining the website?
Yes, you must pay for ongoing domain and hosting costs (Domains = $20/year and Hosting = $10+/month)
What platform do you use to build websites?
We specialize in WordPress because it is a free, user-friendly, open-source platform.
In addition to WordPress, we use a professional drag-and-drop theme called Divi, the only WordPress theme you’ll ever need. We will include our lifetime license with this build. There’s also a tremendous library of resources, tutorials, and videos to learn more about modifying your theme. Learn more about Divi at ElegantThemes.com.
Because I’m using a template, will my website look like other websites?
No. We restyle the template with your branding—logos, colors, and fonts—so it looks unique to your business. We further personalize it with your content, adding your images and messaging. In other words, the structure is similar to other websites, but the look and feel are all you.
Do you offer hosting or do I need to purchase it separately?
We can provide hosting for a discounted price of $100/year. If you have already purchased your own hosting or prefer to manage it yourself, we ask that it be of sound quality so as not to affect your site’s performance. Hosting is also included in our Web Maintenance packages for those that want their website’s professionally maintained.
What if I need additional pages or features?
We are happy to scale up our projects as needed. If the scope of your website grows beyond what’s included in our Template Restyle service, you can purchase our professional services by the hour or in five-hour packs at a discount.
What if I don't have my own branding?
If you don’t have your own logo, color palette, and brand fonts, we can offer you a branding package at a discounted rate as an add-on. Depending on your needs, this could range from simple branding to the full shebang package. Read more about our branding packages.
Are there rounds of revisions included?
Yes. Two rounds of revisions are included for each page. If you need more revisions, that would change the timeline and scope of the project. But not to worry, we will send you tutorial videos on how to do make simple edits yourself.
